Conference of top commanders of the Air Force, a strategy to deal with China; Discussion on the deployment of Rafale

New Delhi, ANI. A three-day conference of top commanders of the Air Force has started from today to review the country’s air security system. Defense Conference Rajnath Singh also attended this conference being chaired by Air Force Chief RKS Bhadoria. Apart from this, all seven commander-in-chiefs are also present in the conference. It is believed that the strategy to deal with China will be discussed during this period and a decision can be taken to deploy Rafale fighter jets in Ladakh.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Commander’s Conference, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the nation will always remember the role of the Indian Air Force under some of the most challenging circumstances. His contribution during the country’s response to the Corona epidemic has been highly commendable.

India has been steadily increasing its military capability amid continuing conflict with China. In this series, Rafale fighter jets can also be deployed in Ladakh. On July 29, the first consignment of 5 Rafale planes from France is due. The Air Force has already deployed its modern fleet of Mirage 2000, Sukhoi-30, and MiG-29 fighter jets to the forward base in Ladakh.

Sources said that Rafale’s first squadron will be deployed at Ambala Air Base, which is strategically a very important base of the Air Force. India has signed a deal of 60 thousand crores for the purchase of 36 Rafale aircraft from France. The induction of Rafale aircraft with state-of-the-art weapon system will greatly increase the strength of the Air Force. The Air Force is working on deploying Rafale from France with a fleet of Russian fighter jets.
