Congress supports ban on Chinese app, says – Central government takes more effective steps

New Delhi The Congress welcomed the decision of the Central Government to ban 59 Chinese applications and said that the Center will have to take more effective steps. India on Monday banned all 59 apps related to China. The most popular apps include TikTok, WeChat, Bigo Live and UC Browser.

Actually, the central government has taken this step in view of the increased tension on the India-China border. The Indian government has banned 59 Chinese applications. The list of banned apps includes Helo, Likee, Cam Scanner (CamScanner), Vigo Video, MI Video Call – Mi Video Call – Xiaomi, Clash of Kings Along with the e-commerce platform Club Factory and Shein.

Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel said that the move was welcome in view of the Chinese Army’s attack on the Indian Army. He wrote on Twitter, ‘We welcome the government’s decision to ban the Chinese app. We expect the government to take more effective steps against China attacking the soldiers of the country. Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said, ‘It is a good idea to ban the Chinese app. What will happen to the funds coming from Chinese Telecom and other Chinese companies to PM CARES? Good idea or bad. ‘



Explain that the Center has sought the opinion of industrial organizations and other manufacturing associations and exporters before banning the import of Chinese goods. They have been asked whether they have enough options to ban imports from China. It is noteworthy that after banning telecom and Chinese apps, the government is now preparing to curb imports.
