This is the reason why some states have once again started taking strict measures for prevention of Coronavirus. In this order, Uttar Pradesh has announced the implementation of lockdown in UP by 13 July. According to the UP Government, this lockdown will start from 10 pm on Friday night and will continue till 13 July i.e. 5 am on Monday morning. However, discounts for essential services will continue during this period.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, while issuing the order, said that for the prevention of communicable diseases (encephalitis, malaria, dengue, kala azar) etc. with increasing infection of corona virus, from the night of July 10, 2020, at 5 am on July 13 It has been decided to impose lockdown till. During the lockdown, all offices, urban and rural haats, market, Galla mandi and other establishments etc. will be closed throughout the state. Let me tell you that corona infection is increasing continuously in Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday, a record 1248 new cases have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours of the state.

At present, the total number of active cases in the state has gone up to 10,373. The total number of discharged people is 21,127. Prasad said that the work of testing is being done in the state at a rapid pace. On Wednesday, 32,826 samples were tested, surpassing the target of 30,000 samples per day. With this, the state has joined the leading states of the country in the corona test. He said that a total of 2328 pools were examined under the pool test, of which 1964 pools of 5–5 samples and 364 pools of 10–10 samples were examined.
