New Delhi, Jagran Bureau. Kovid-19 has been the biggest impact on the tourism industry. Even if this epidemic is controlled, it is going to change the tourism industry a lot. Hotel booking platform company Oyo is also changing its strategy in view of these changes in future. The company has devised a strategy to make housekeeping and room service as well as human touch with minimum touchless check-in and check-out. The tag of sanitized stay will be displayed in all the properties under the company which will guarantee that all the facilities there are completely safe.
Now that the lockdown has started getting relief, the company is going to start its services in 1,000 hotels in the next 10 days. Oyo’s CEO (India & South Asia) Rohit Kapoor has said that hotel guests’ behavior will change around the world.

In India, there will be an increase in the number of pilgrims currently visiting weekends and small and big tourist places from the streets. After this, the number of people going from one state to another by their car will also increase. This will create new possibilities for people associated with tourism and hotel industry.
Health security will be the biggest concern for those going on tours. Oyo is ready to address these concerns and provide a safe stay. We hope that we will have new opportunities to expand following the current challenges.
“In all our properties, along with social distancing, guests and staff will be subjected to health tests as necessary.” There will be a facility of QR code as well as the facility to download the ICard in advance so that unnecessary touch can be avoided after entering the property.
