Credit Card Rule Changed: Big news! Two banks changed credit card rules, check new rule immediately

Credit Card Rule Changed: Some changes are going to be made in the Club Vistara co-branded credit card issued by IDFC First Bank and SBI Card, which will come into effect from April 1, 2025. Under this, some benefits of cardholders have been reduced.

IDFC First Bank

IDFC First Bank has told its Club Vistara IDFC First credit cardholders that milestone benefits will be discontinued from March 31, 2025. However, customers can continue to earn Maharaja Points till March 31, 2026.

Meanwhile, Club Vistara Silver membership will also no longer be available and complimentary vouchers including one premium economy ticket and one one-class upgrade voucher will also be discontinued.

Apart from this, milestone vouchers will no longer be issued for premium economy tickets. Annual fees will be waived for one year for those who renew their cards after March 31, 2025.

Update on SBI Cards

SBI Card has also announced similar changes for its Club Vistara SBI Credit Card and Club Vistara SBI Prime Credit Card.

Cardholders will no longer get economy or premium economy ticket vouchers as renewable benefits from April 1, 2025. Club Vistara SBI Credit Card will no longer provide economy ticket vouchers and milestone benefits on annual spending of Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 5 lakh will be discontinued.

Club Vistara SBI Prime Credit Card will also be discontinued with premium economy ticket vouchers. The renewal fee for the base card will be Rs 1,499, while for the Prime card it will be Rs 2,999. However, the option of fee waiver will also be available during this period.
