DA Hike 2025: Now DA hike will be announced on this day next month, this much salary will come in the account along with arrears

DA Hike 2025: A big update is coming out on dearness allowance for central employees. The wait of the employees for dearness allowance is getting longer. Employees expecting an increase in dearness allowance (DA Hike) before Holi may have to wait longer. Latest figures of dearness allowance are coming out.

DA Hike 2025: The government revises the dearness allowance twice a year for central employees. At present, the dearness allowance to be effective from January 2025 is to be revised. A big update is coming out regarding the increase in dearness allowance (DA Hike 2025) and its announcement.

The announcement has been made before Holi

The Dearness Allowance, which is considered effective from January, is usually revised before Holi for central employees. This means a lot to the employees. But this time it could not happen. Central employees are facing delay in the announcement of Dearness Allowance (DA Hike 2025). Now the wait of the employees is increasing further.

The reason for the delay in the announcement of dearness allowance came to the fore

According to the Financial Times, at present the delay in the increase in dearness allowance is happening due to the delay in government process and financial approval. Due to this, the employees did not get the gift of revision of dearness allowance before Holi. Now a new update (DA Hike 2025) has come on the revision of dearness allowance.

Dearness allowance will be announced next month

Now the central government is working on the dearness allowance. If everything goes on time, then according to reports, the increase in dearness allowance may be announced next week on 2nd or 3rd April of next month.

April salary will be paid along with arrears

Now after the announcement on dearness allowance in early April, the employees will get revised salary in April with three months’ arrears. The decision on the increase in dearness allowance has been postponed several times before. Therefore, it is expected that the government may approve it in the next cabinet meeting. This is likely to happen next week. This dearness allowance (DA Hike) will be effective from January 2025. Also, the arrears of January, February and March can be paid to the employees along with the salary of April.

How much will inflation increase

Two figures are coming out for the employees regarding the increase in dearness allowance. According to the data of All India Consumer Price Index from July to December, there will be a revision in dearness allowance. According to this, an increase of 2 to 3 percent in the dearness allowance (DA Hike) of the employees is possible. That is, the dearness allowance of the employees can increase from 53 percent to 55 to 56 percent.

4 percent figure is also possible

Now according to the new data, the increase in dearness allowance can be more than 2%. This increase can now go up to 4%. The reason for this is being told that RBI has increased the inflation rate estimate for the current financial year from 4.5% to 4.8%. From this, it is being estimated that dearness allowance (DA Hike) can also go up to 4 percent.

How much will be the dearness allowance of the employees

The increase in dearness allowance of employees will have a direct impact on their salary. If we look at the minimum basic salary of central employees as per Rs 18000, then currently with 53 percent dearness allowance, employees get Rs 9540 more in salary. At the same time, with a two percent increase, this figure can increase by Rs 360 to Rs 9900. At the same time, with a three percent figure, it can become Rs 10080. That is, the increase can be of Rs 540. At the same time, if there is a 4 percent increase, it will be Rs 720 and dearness allowance (DA Hike) can be Rs 10260.
