The variable dearness allowance of employees has been increased. Orders have been issued for this. From October they will be paid salary along with increased dearness allowance.
DA Hike, Employees DA Hike, VDA Hike: A big gift has been given to the employees who were looking for increase in DA. The quarterly dearness allowance of employees has been increased by the Modi government. Orders have been issued for this. According to the order issued by the ministry, from October to December, salaries will be paid to the employees according to this dearness allowance.
The orders have been issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment in exercise of the power given in the notification issued by the Central Government. Under which the average consumer price index for industrial workers has increased from 378.58 to 385.97 as of June 30, 2023. As a result, an increase of 7.39 points has been recorded. Under this, the rates of variable dearness allowances of industrial workers will be revised. This will be effective from October 1 to December. After this, the rates of dearness relief will be revised once again in January.
Under this, the workers whose variable dearness allowance has been revised include employees engaged in loading and unloading in railway goods sheds, parcel offices, other goods-sheds, go-downs, warehouses and other similar employments in docks and ports; VDA rates for those carrying passengers and baggage and cargo at airports (both international and domestic) have been revised.
The same as dearness allowance for 3 months from October 1, 2023 has also been determined.
- The rate of dearness allowance for A sector has been fixed at Rs 228.
- Whereas for B area the rate of Bada has been fixed at Rs 191.
- Similarly, dearness allowance for C sector has been fixed at Rs 154.
Salary will increase by this much
- Along with the revised rates of dearness allowance, for A category employees, they will be paid Rs 751 per day along with basic pay of Rs 523 and dearness allowance of Rs 228 per day.
- Whereas B category employees will be provided Rs 437 as basic salary and Rs 191 as dearness allowance. In such a situation, they will be given Rs 628 per day tomorrow.
- For C category employees, apart from the basic salary of Rs 350, dearness allowance has been fixed at the rate of Rs 154 per day. In such a situation, they will be paid a salary of Rs 504 per day. With this, their salary can increase up to Rs 22600.
