Bihar government increased dearness allowance
An official told reporters that a total of 38 proposals were approved in the meeting. He said that in the meeting, a proposal to increase the Dearness Allowance of three percent of the state government government servants, pensioners, family pensioners has been approved. Earlier the dearness allowance was 50 percent, which has now been increased to 53 percent (DA Hike). It will be considered effective from July 1 this year.
New social media policy implemented
In the meeting, Bihar Social Media and Online Media Rules 2024 have also been approved. Apart from this, administrative approval of more than Rs 120 crore has been given for the acquisition of 50.50 acres of land for the construction of infrastructure for tourism development around Punauradham temple of Sitamarhi.
He said that with the aim of strengthening law and order in the urban area of ​​Patna, approval has also been given in this meeting for the creation of 153 posts including three DSPs, three police inspectors, nine inspectors, 18 sub-inspectors of police and 120 constables.
These schemes got green signal
In the meeting, the proposal to allocate work on the basis of nomination to Sulabh International Social Service Organization for the maintenance of public toilets at major tourist places of Bihar has also been approved. Patna Sadar Zone has been divided by the Revenue Land Reforms Department. It has been divided into Patna Sadar Zone, Pataliputra Zone, Patna City Zone and Didarganj Zone.
For this, the state government has approved the creation of new posts of many categories in these offices. Approval has been given for creation of a total of 60 new posts for these four zones. Chief Minister Home Site Purchase Assistance Scheme 2024 has also been approved in the meeting.
