Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh can give two big gifts to the employees before Diwali. Before Diwali, the Uttar Pradesh government can increase the dearness allowance and dearness relief of employees and pensioners by four percent. According to media reports, dearness allowance is to be increased at the rate of 4%. More than 7 lakh pensioners including 12 lakh teacher employees will also get the benefit of this. With this, their dearness allowance can be increased to 46%. The announcement of increase in dearness allowance is expected by next week.
At present dearness allowance is being provided at the rate of 42%. With the approval of DA increase, it will be implemented from July 1. In such a situation, the amount of 3 months arrears will also be paid to the employees. If there is an increase in dearness allowance in the month of October, then the employees will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance along with the October salary in the month of November. The proposal will be prepared by the Finance Department and it will be placed in the cabinet meeting. After getting approval in the cabinet, increased dearness allowance will be announced to the state employees and pensioners.
Preparation for increase in dearness allowance
Rajasthan government is currently preparing to increase dearness allowance. A proposal for this is being prepared by the Finance Department. There is to be an increase of 4% in the dearness allowance of employees. A proposal is being prepared for this. The proposal to give bonus to 6 lakh employees on Diwali has also moved forward. Its orders will be issued soon after the approval of the Election Commission.
Employees have been given the benefit of four percent increase by the Modi government. On the lines of which the state government has now put forward proposals to provide central goods to the employees. Also, dearness allowance will increase from 42% to 46%. More than 4 lakh pensioners including more than 8 lakh employees will come under its purview.
