Dearness allowance increased by 4 percent

Maharashtra government has increased the dearness allowance of the state employees. Dearness allowance of government employees coming from Scheduled Tribe category has been increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. That means the DA of the employees has increased by 4 percent.

DA was increased in August 2022

Let us tell you that after this decision taken by the government, there will be a burden of about Rs 9 crore on the state. At the same time, earlier in August 2022, dearness allowance on state government employees was increased by 3 percent.

Central government will increase soon

Apart from this, news is coming that the government may soon increase the dearness allowance of central employees. At present no official information has been received about it yet. According to the data of AICPI Index, it is believed that this time also there may be 4 percent dearness allowance in the DA of the employees.

DA may be 46 percent

At present, employees are getting dearness allowance at the rate of 42 percent. At the same time, if the government increases it by 4 percent, then the employees will get the benefit of DA at the rate of 46 percent. There may be a special session of Parliament at the end of September, in which the government can announce increase in DA.
