Increase in AICPI’s January figures

That is, in this situation the DA of central employees will increase to 46 percent. However, only the figures for January have come, only after the figures for the rest of the months come, it will be decided that how much will be the increase in DA in July.
So there can be an increase of 4 percent
According to media reports, the AICPI figure in December 2022 was 132.3. At the same time, in January 2023, the figures of AICPI have increased to 132.8 points. If this continues to increase, then the DA of the employees may increase by up to 4 percent.
Currently getting DA at the rate of 38 percent
At present, central employees are getting dearness allowance at the rate of 38 per cent. At the same time, pensioners are also being given the benefit of dearness relief at the same rate. According to media reports, a 4 percent increase in the DA of central employees is fixed. This DA hike will be applicable from January 2023. That is, his DA will increase to 42 percent. On the other hand, if the figures of AICPI continue to increase in this way, DA will increase in July as well.
