DA Hike Latest Update: Government employees have got a big relief before Diwali. After the permission of the Election Commission, the state government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees by four percent. This will benefit more than 12 lakh employees and pensioners of the state.
Before Diwali, a very good news has come for the government employees of Rajasthan. Dearness allowance of state government employees has been increased by four percent. The Election Commission has approved the proposal of the state government to increase the dearness allowance of government employees of Rajasthan. This allowance has now increased by four percent to 46 percent. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has shared this information on ‘X’.
CM Gehlot wrote, ‘Gift on the festival!’ It is a matter of happiness that the proposal of four percent increase in dearness allowance sent by the government in the interest of the government employees of Rajasthan has been approved by the Election Commission. He wrote that now dearness allowance in Rajasthan has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. More than eight lakh employees and more than four lakh pensioners of Rajasthan will benefit from this step.
The proposal for increase was sent to the Election Commission
It is noteworthy that assembly elections are to be held in the state on November 25 and in view of this, Model Code of Conduct is in force in the state. With the increase in dearness allowance for employees at the Centre, there has been a tradition of immediately implementing it in the state also. The Central Government had recently increased the dearness allowance of the employees. After that it has been implemented in the state. But in view of the Model Code of Conduct imposed in the state in view of the Assembly elections, a proposal for this was first sent to the Election Commission.
Nomination process has started in Rajasthan
The nomination process for the assembly elections in Rajasthan has started from October 30. Candidates will be able to file nomination papers till 6th November. After that the nomination papers will be scrutinized on November 7. Candidates can withdraw their names till 9th November. Voting will be held simultaneously in the entire state on the same day on 25th November. Election results will be declared on 3 December.
