DA Hike Update: Talking about the DA of the employees, it can be increased by up to 3 percent. It is expected that the government will increase DA in the month of March. Earlier in the month of October, DA was increased by 3 percent. However, no increase has been made in the date of DA increase. Now everyone is eagerly waiting for this.
How much will the DA of the employees be?
The government can increase the DA of the central employees by up to 3 percent. After this it will increase to 56 percent. Its benefits will be available from January 1, 2025. At present, employees are getting the benefit of 53 percent DA, who are eagerly waiting for the next one. Its benefit will be seen by more than one crore employees and pensioners.
If the salary of the employees is Rs 30000 per month, then according to 3 percent DA, there will be an increase of Rs 900 monthly. Not only this, if the salary is Rs 40,000, there will be an increase of Rs 1200 per month. If we add this increase annually, then there will be an increase of Rs 14,400. This will be like a big gift for the employees. On the other hand, employees and pensioners are also going to get bumper benefits from the approval of the 8th Pay Commission.
Big gift can be given in the budget
The Modi government of the Center is going to present the second full budget of the 3.0 regime, from which all sections have a lot of expectations. Central employees are hopeful that the government can constitute the 8th Pay Commission on this day. Apart from this, an announcement can also be made on the date of implementation of the 8th Pay Commission. The government is also expected to make some announcement on the pending 18 months DA arrears. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the full budget on 1 February 2025.
