DA Hike Update : The Finance Department has issued orders to increase the dearness allowance of employees in Uttar Pradesh government. According to this order, now employees will be provided 230 percent and 427 percent allowance of basic salary.
Payment will be made from July 1, 2007
Let us tell you that Uttar Pradesh Finance Department has issued an order regarding increasing dearness allowance. According to this order, those employees working in the state government who are getting benefits as per the sixth pay scale of the central government and the salary structure of the state government, will now get 230 percent dearness allowance. At the same time, such employees who are getting benefits as per the fifth pay scale and salary structure of the state government will now get 427 percent dearness allowance. This benefit will be provided to all employees from 1 July 2007.

Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Finance Department According to this order issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, it has been decided to pay the increased dearness allowance in cash from November 1, 2023. The amount before this will be deposited in the employees’ provident fund. For officers or employees whose Provident Fund account is not available, the amount will either be deposited in arrears and PPF account or will be provided in the form of National Savings Certificate.
This is how Residual Dearness Allowance will be given
Also, for those employees who are covered under NPS, an amount equal to 10 percent of their Residual Dearness Allowance will be deposited in Tier 1 accounts and an amount equal to 14 percent will be deposited in Tier 1 pension accounts. 90% of the amount will be provided in the PPF account of the employees or in the form of NSC.
