4% increase in dearness allowance-

In the meeting of the Transport Corporation Board chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan on Wednesday, an agreement has also been made on their accident insurance. Along with this, the increase in dearness allowance has been approved.
It was told in the meeting that permission has already been given to buy 60 diesel-powered buses for the hilly routes. The dearness allowance of the regular employees of the Transport Corporation has been increased by 4 percent. Along with this, an increase of up to Rs 21,000 will be seen in the salary of the employees.
Revision in the rate of house rent allowance also-
Apart from this, according to the decision taken in the board meeting, the rate of house rent allowance to regular employees will also be revised. For this, a proposal will be sent to the state government, while it has been decided to increase the base rate by 10% and the base rate of contract outsourced and special category driver operator.
Benefits of accident insurance to employees

In case of accidental death, complete disability and permanent mental disability, an amount of Rs 10 lakh will be paid to the employees and their dependents under the insurance scheme.
