The DBSE board established by the Delhi government may soon be closed. The Directorate of Education is preparing to hand over SOSE schools to CBSE. Admission in class IX will now be done under CBSE. The question is what will be the validity of the DBSE certificate? If the government requests, CBSE can admit DBSE students. The Deputy Director of Education has also mentioned this in his order.
The Ministry of Education may soon close the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) established by the AAP government. Sources associated with the Directorate of Education said that preparations are underway to hand over the operation of 56 SOSE (School of Specialized Excellence) schools affiliated to DBSE to CBSE.
Students will be admitted under CBSE board
Sources said that the entrance examination for admission to class IX in SOSE school will be conducted soon and the selected students will be admitted under CBSE board. The Directorate is going to announce the dates of examinations conducted for the admission process soon.
The Deputy Director of Education has also mentioned this in one of his orders. In which the board registration of class 10th of the students taking admission in class IX in the year 2025-26 will be done in CBSE.
What will be the validity of the certificate?
Now the question arises that if the students of DBSE board will be enrolled in CBSE board, then what will be the validity of the pass certificate received by the students who have passed 10th from DBSE till now? Since the 10th pass certificate of the students is valid all over the country. Whom will these children tell a few years from today that a board named DBSE was open in Delhi for three years.
When CBSE officials were asked about giving admission to DBSE class IX students in CBSE from this session, they said that they do not have any information in this regard right now. But if the government requests that we are unable to run the DBSE board and want to give admission to DBSE students in CBSE, then action will definitely be taken on their request.
