DDA Housing Scheme: Fake websites have been created on the housing scheme in Delhi, against which the DDA has filed a complaint and asked people to be cautious about it.
DDA Housing Scheme: Delhi Development Authority has issued an alert for the people. The DDA has lodged an FIR against some people in the Economic Offenses Wing and Cyber Crime Cell of Delhi Police on Thursday. The DDA has said in the complaint that tempting promises are being made to the people and home booking is being done through fake websites.
The Housing Authority of the country’s capital, which looks after works like development and construction of housing project, commercial land, land management, land disposal, land pooling scheme, has alerted its customers about this and said to stay away from such fake websites.
Lakhs can be lost
DDA has said that there is a need to stay away from fake websites under the housing scheme. If you get trapped in a tempting offer, then you may suffer a loss of lakhs of rupees. The DDA said in a statement that the organization has taken the matter seriously and a complaint has been lodged with the Economic Offenses Wing and Cyber Crime Cell of Delhi Police.
Beware of fraudsters like this
DDA has said in its statement that some fraudsters are using fake URL (https://DDAflat.org.in/index.php) and making offers to buy houses by making tempting promises through this URL. It has been said in the statement that booking a flat from any other place can be harmful for you and it can trap you in huge financial loss. In this case, you should contact only from the official website.
