DA: When will 48 lakh employees and 67 lakh pensioners get 18 months' DA arrears, where has Rs 34,402.32 crore gone?

DA Hike: If you are an employee then this news is for you. In fact, the government may soon give a big gift to the central employees. According to a report, it is being said that the government can take a big decision on the DA of the employees. Under which the employees will get 21 thousand 280 rupees of dearness allowance.

The government can give a big gift to the central employees before Holi. It is reported that the government may take a big decision on the Dearness Allowance (DA) of central employees in the coming 15 days. Employees are waiting for a hike in their DA.

It is believed that in the cabinet meeting to be held on March 1, the government can take a decision on the increase in DA. However, no official statement has come out on this yet. If the government announces an increase in DA, then the employees will also get arrears for January-February.

Lakhs of employees will be benefited-

Employees organizations are expecting 4% DA/DR Hike. If this happens, then their dearness allowance will increase from 38 percent to 42 percent and there will be a bumper increase in the salary of central employees. If the government decides to increase the dearness allowance before Holi, then it will benefit about 48 lakh central employees and 63 lakh pensioners.

Let us tell you that there has been a rule by the Central Government to increase DA / DR annually from the beginning of January to the end of July. However, there has been a delay in the last few years.

How much will be the increase in salary?

Last year, the government had increased the DA of central employees by four per cent. After this increase, the DA of the employees was increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. If we look at the salary, then if the basic pay of a central employee is Rs 1,8000, then at the rate of 38 per cent, dearness allowance of Rs 6,840 is made. On the other hand, if this DA becomes 42 percent, then the DA of the employee will increase to Rs 7,560.

DA is a part of the salary structure.

If we look at the maximum basic pay, then the dearness allowance on the basis of Rs 56,000 becomes Rs 21,280. Now if it is seen according to the increase of four percent, then it will jump to Rs.23,520. In this case, employees with minimum basic salary will get a benefit of Rs 720 every month and Rs 8,640 annually.

On the other hand, the salary of employees with maximum basic salary will see an increase of Rs 2,240 every month, which will be Rs 26,880 annually. Dearness Allowance (DA) is a part of the salary structure of government employees. The government changes DA every six months.
