New Delhi: The Delhi government on Friday issued guidelines related to Covid-19 for schools, saying that students and staff should not be allowed to enter the school premises without thermal scanning. It also states that parents should be advised not to send their children to school if they are found infected with the corona virus.
The government said, “Students should be instructed to avoid sharing food and stationery items.” The national capital has seen a rise in the cases of Kovid-19 in the last few days. On Thursday, 965 new cases of infection were reported in Delhi. There were 1,009 cases of corona virus on Wednesday, 632 on Tuesday and 501 on Monday.
Face-masks became mandatory in Tamil Nadu,
while the Tamil Nadu government on Friday again started imposing fines on those not wearing face-masks amid rising cases of Kovid-19 and laxity in following health protocols. The Stalin government has asked the concerned departments to ensure that this rule is strictly followed in the state.
