During the inspection of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway last month, he had said that he himself would launch the U-turn underpass on October 15, but the construction work took time to complete. For a long time, there was a demand to make a U-turn underpass at Sirhaul border in front of Ambience Mall. Now the dream has come true. The maximum traffic pressure on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway is between Sirhaul Border and Rajokri Border. With the commissioning of U-turn underpass, people of Gurugram area will not have to take U-turn from Rajokri border to go towards Ambience Mall.
At present, people of most areas of Gurugram have to take a U-turn from Rajokri border to go towards Ambience Mall. Because of this, there is traffic pressure all the time between Sirhaul border to Rajokri border. During peak hours i.e. during 8 am to 11 am and during 5 pm to 9 pm, traffic jam like situation is created.
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Project Director Construction Jambhulkar says that the U-turn underpass will be duly inaugurated as soon as the electricity connection is received. At present, electricity is being provided from the generator in the underpass. Trial has been started. If something is missing from this, then you will know.
