Its total distance will be 71.15 kilometers. This corridor will run between Majlis Park and Maujpur. However, the 12.55 km long track will eliminate the network between North, South, East and West Delhi.
There will be a total of eight stations
Majlis Park, Maujpur corridor will be completed in the year 2024. There will be a total of eight stations on this line. This will be a triple decker metro. There will be a flyover and road under the metro line. On the Ring Road Metro, there are already 36 metro stations.
Ring Road will make traveling easier for people coming from Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad and Bahadurgarh. With this, it will also become very easy for the people of Delhi to reach the railway station and airport. There will be 11 interchange metro stations on the Ring Road line.
These will include Azadpur, Netaji Subhash Place, Punjabi Bagh West, Rajouri Garden, Durgabai Deshmukh Marg, Dilli Haat, INA, Lajpat Nagar, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Anand Vihar ISBT, Karkardooma and Welcome stations.
Delay in project
The work of Phase 4 of Delhi Metro is going on with a delay of 30 months. This is because DMRC is yet to get permission to cut 2500 trees. The cost of the project has also increased by 15 per cent. Its work will be completed by June 2024. At present, 58 per cent work has been completed.
At the same time, apart from this, a meeting of Noida Metro Rail Corporation has been held recently for the metro route between Noida Sector 142 and Botanical Garden Magenta Line. 8 metro stations have been proposed for this new route. This metro line will run at par with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. A foot over bridge will also be built in this line, which will provide connectivity to the vehicles passing below. After the commencement of this line, the people of Noida and Greater Noida will be able to reach Delhi easily.
According to media reports, this metro line will start from Sector 142 and will pass through Noida Sector 125, Noida Sector 97, Noida Sector 98 and Noida Sector 91. This metro line will end at the Botanical Garden.
