Delhi Metro: The Maujpur-Majlis Park Metro Corridor under construction for the extension of Pink Line in Delhi Metro Phase IV will be special in many ways.
On this corridor, the double-decker corridor between Bhajanpura to Yamuna Vihar, the fifth bridge of the metro on Yamuna and the combined structure of flyover and metro line parallel to each other near Surghat will attract people.
The work of several pillars for the double-decker corridor of this metro line has been completed. Due to this the double decker corridor has started taking shape. However, due to delay in work due to Corona, the 12.58 km long Maujpur-Majlis Park corridor will be ready in the next one and a half years.
This corridor is an extension project of the existing 58.43 km long Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar). Its construction work started in the year 2020. The Public Works Department (PWD) will have a flyover at a height of 9.5 meters above the ground on the double-decker corridor and the metro corridor will be nine meters above the flyover. Because of this, the total height of the metro corridor from the ground will be 18.5 meters. The length of the fifth bridge being built on Yamuna for this corridor will be 560 meters.

There will be eight stations
Eight metro stations will be built on this corridor. In which there will be Burari, Jharoda Majra, Jagatpur, Surghat, Sonia Vihar, Khajuri Khas, Bhajanpura and Yamuna Vihar .
