Delhi Metro: Metro will run from Metro Phase 3 to Loni Border, 21 km journey will be completed in a few minutes

Delhi Metro Phase 5 DPR: Work has started on the 206 KM long fifth phase. A total of 18 corridors will be built in it. 115 km will be elevated, while the rest of the track will be underground. About 128 metro stations will be built in the fifth phase.

Delhi Metro Phase 5 DPR: About 60 percent of the work of Phase 4 of Delhi Metro has been completed. This project has been designed to provide an important transport option for the people of Delhi-NCR. After the completion of this phase, the scope of the metro network will increase to about 500 km. Three new lines are being constructed under Phase 4, including Janakpuri West to Ramakrishna Ashram Marg and Majlis Park to Maujpur.

6 corridors are being built

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has taken all necessary steps to expedite the remaining work of Phase 4. Under this project, 6 new corridors of 112.42 km length are being built. Work is going on on these corridors with priority, so that people can get the facility as soon as possible.

Work on Phase 5 has started

Work on Phase 5 of Delhi Metro has also started. Correspondence has started between DMRC and the Ministry of Urban Affairs, which makes it clear that the work of Phase 5 will also progress rapidly. After the start of this phase, the scope of the metro will increase further, which will make the movement of the people of Delhi even easier.

18 corridors will be built under Phase 5

18 corridors will be built under Phase 5, which includes the corridors from Yamuna Bank to Loni Border and Faridabad to Gurugram. These corridors have been divided into two parts. Phase 5 (A) includes those 3 corridors whose detailed project report (DPR) is ready. The total length of Phase 5 will be around 206 km, of which around 115 km will be elevated and the rest will be underground. Around 128 metro stations will be built in this phase. Of these, 79 stations will be elevated and the rest will be underground.

The longest corridor of Phase 5 will be built between Ballabhgarh and Palwal, while the second longest corridor will be 21 km long, which will be between Mayur Vihar Phase-3 and Loni Border. All these plans are an important step towards making the future of Delhi Metro bright.
