Delhi Metro: Delhi Metro has issued a new advisory for the end of the weekend curfew and the Beating Retreat Ceremony. Now metro will be run on Saturday and Sunday as before.
Delhi News: After the decrease in corona cases in Delhi, DDMA has removed some restrictions imposed in the capital. On the last day i.e. 27 January, DDMA held a meeting in which the weekend curfew was abolished from Delhi. Along with this, all private and government offices were allowed to open at 50 percent capacity. After the weekend curfew is over, DMRC has also issued a new guideline regarding the metro, under which the metro will be run on the weekend curfew days i.e. Saturday and Sunday as before.
Standing will not be allowed to travel
With the end of the weekend curfew, now the metro service has been restored on Saturday and Sunday. At present, standing is not allowed in the metro, that is, passengers can travel sitting with 100% capacity. At the same time, Kovid rules will be followed at all metro stations. It will be mandatory for the passengers to wear masks.
Changes with the Beating Retreat Ceremony
Services on the Yellow Line have been changed in connection with the Beating Retreat ceremony. In view of the Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29, Metro services will not be available at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations on the Yellow Line i.e. HUDA City Center – Samaypur Badli line from 2 PM to 06.30 PM. During this time, the facility of interchange of metro will be available for the people. Metro will run normally after the Beating Retreat.
