The journey of the people of Delhi and Haryana by Metro is going to become easier in the coming times. In order to give relief to the people of Faridabad and Gurugram adjoining Delhi, Haryana Government has decided to connect Faridabad with Gurugram Metro.
The route to connect both the cities with the metro has been made by taking it out from Pyali Chowk of NIT assembly constituency. That is, now people will be able to travel directly between Faridabad and Gurugram. As of now there is no such facility. People have to exchange metro. This wastes a lot of time.
According to senior Jagran correspondent Bijendra Bansal, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal while giving information about this in the winter session of the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday said that the length of the metro route between Faridabad to Gurugram is 32.14 km. 12 metro stations will be built on this route.
These include a proposal from Faridabad to build a metro station at Bata Chowk, Pyali Chowk, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, Badkhal Enclave, Pali Chowk, Police Chowki Mangar. In Gurugram area, metro stations will be built at Gwal Pahari, Sector-56, Sushant Lok, Sushant Lok- Phase III, Rosewood City and Vatika Chowk.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal told in the house that the final detailed project report of the project is being prepared. When the DPR is ready, it will be placed before the Council of Ministers. After the approval of the Council of Ministers, the DPR will be sent to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for approval. After getting approval from here, work on this project will be started, removing other legal hurdles.
With the start of metro operation on this route, it will be easy to travel between Faridabad to Gurugram. This will not only benefit the people of Faridabad and Gurugram but will also make the journey of the people of Delhi adjoining Haryana easier. It is being told that this route will be expanded with the help of Delhi Metro.
Let us inform, NIT Faridabad MLA Neeraj Sharma has struggled a long time in front of the Haryana Government from Delhi Metro to get the Metro route out of Pyali Chowk.
