Delhi Metro New Service: Passengers sitting in Delhi Metro will now get full speed internet speed and full network in mobile. DMRC has signed an agreement for high-speed internet on metro route.
Under this project, high-speed optical fiber network will be installed and improved in all metro corridors.
This step will improve internet connectivity in Delhi-NCR metro network. DMRC has given information about this.
DMRC has informed that in the first phase of the project, the company will lay 700 km fiber optic cable on all metro lines including the airport line.
Passengers will get this facility first on Pink and Magenta lines. After this, the remaining work is expected to be completed in the next 6 months.
With the availability of fiber network high-speed internet facility, 5G services will be rolled out smoothly in Delhi and surrounding areas.
