Let us know what are the rules for making videos inside Delhi Metro and what are the other rules. However, from time to time, warnings are also issued by Delhi Metro and rule books are also issued. It is also advisable not to make videos inside.

First of all, know that making video reels is prohibited inside Delhi Metro. However, there is definitely permission to carry a mobile phone. For film and video shooting inside the metro, you will have to obtain prior written permission from DMRC.

You will also have to provide information about your video shooting plan, location, and time. Apart from this, privacy of passengers will have to be maintained. You cannot take photos or videos of any passengers without their permission.

For violating these rules, you can be fined by Delhi Metro. Apart from this, it is absolutely prohibited to carry knives, scissors, swords, blades, guns, screwdrivers, pliers, hand grenades, gunpowder, firecrackers, plastic explosives, inflammable substances and cutting weapons. Bringing pets like dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits, rats, aquarium fish and any birds like birds, parrots etc. inside Delhi Metro is completely prohibited.

Also, carrying any objectionable item in the metro is strictly prohibited. Carrying of items like loose raw meat, fish, human skeleton, skeleton of any animal, blood or bones, human body parts, bodies or parts of dead animals is strictly prohibited.
