Delhi Metro has made minor changes in the timing of the last train on all lines to facilitate the spectators of the T20 cricket match between India and South Africa at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Ferozeshah Kotla ground here on Thursday. The stadium is located between Delhi Gate and ITO Metro Station on the Violet Line. This line connects Kashmere Gate and Raja Nahar Singh stations with each other.


According to the statement, “In anticipation of sudden rush at these nearest metro stations after the end of the match, Delhi Metro will increase the time of its last train by about 30-45 minutes on all routes by adding additional trips (approximately 48).” On an average, the last trains leave from metro stations between 11.30 am and midnight.
