Delhi Metro Timing on Holi 2024: If you travel by metro then this news is for you. Metro has issued a notification for the day of Holi. In such a situation, if you are thinking of going somewhere by metro on the day of Holi, then leave the house after reading the notification issued by the metro, otherwise you may face problems.

DMRC issued changes in timings

Metro said in its notification that metro train services will start at 2:30 pm on Holi. On the day of Holi festival, i.e. March 25, 2024 (Monday), metro services will not be available on all lines of Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line till 2:30 pm. Thus, metro train services will start from terminal stations on all lines at 2:30 pm on March 25 and will continue normally thereafter.

Some metros were also closed on 22 March

Earlier on March 22, DMRC tweeted that on the advice of Delhi Police, apart from ITO metro station, Lok Kalyan Marg metro station will remain closed from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm till further notice. But it has been opened this morning i.e. on 23 March. Delhi Metro tweeted that ITO metro station and Lok Kalyan Marg metro station are now open for entry/exit.

Holi is being celebrated across the country on 25th March

Holi festival is being celebrated across the country on 25 March. Whereas, Holika Dahan will be performed on 24th March. Holi is celebrated in many ways in the country as well as abroad.
