Delhi Metro Timing On Holi: If you are going to travel in Delhi Metro on the day of Holi, then this news is very important for you. Actually, on March 8, the services of Delhi Metro will start from 2.30 pm. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has given this information regarding the timing of the metro.


New Delhi. If you are going to travel by Delhi Metro on the day of Holi (2023), then this news is very important for you. Actually, the timing of Delhi Metro has been changed on the day of Holi. According to the information received from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), on the day of Holi i.e. Wednesday, March 8, the metro service will remain closed from morning till 2.30 pm. After this the service will be started after 2.30 pm. It was informed by DMRC that all the lines of Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line will be started from 2.30 pm.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) says that on March 8, metro train services will start from terminal stations on all lines from 2.30 pm and will be operated normally thereafter. Apart from this, metro feeder bus services will also start from 2.30 pm on March 8. Along with this, the Delhi Police has issued guidelines regarding the celebration of Holi. Police says that strict action will be taken against those who create ruckus on the day of the festival.

Government’s big action against adulterated sweets

Here, the government has taken a big step against the adulterated sweets available on Holi. In view of Holi, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has instructed the state government to install mobile food testing vans in the markets and get the samples tested. Now the Delhi Food Safety Department has started its preparations regarding this. Every day more than 110 samples are being collected and their testing is also being done.

Delhi police alert

In an advisory issued to all the 15 police districts, the Special Cell of Delhi Police directed them to take the help of religious leaders and local volunteers to stop bike stunters on the intervening night of March 7-8. The advisory cited past incidents when youths from areas like Jaffrabad, Seelampur, Welcome, Trilokpuri, Okhla and Jamia Nagar performed dangerous stunts on vehicles at India Gate, Connaught Place and New Delhi.
