Plans are underway to connect Sector-142 station of Aqua Metro Line with Blue Line and Botanical Garden station of Magenta Line. Before getting the green signal for the DPR of the scheme, a major change has been made in it. Instead of taking the corridor from near the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, preparations are now being made to take it from the residential area. This will benefit the people living in the sectors. This corridor will be more than 12 km.
Noida. Those traveling by metro between Delhi and Noida can get a big good news soon. The metro train line will now pass through the front of his house or through the middle of the sector. In this regard, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has prepared a detailed project report. The DPR has been submitted to the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). Four routes have been suggested in the report. It is worth noting that the plan to build a corridor to connect Sector-142 station of Aqua Metro Line with Botanical Garden station of Blue and Magenta Line is underway. Earlier there was a plan to take this corridor at par with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Now these stations will be included in the corridor
According to sources associated with NMRC, Sector-142 station has been included in the first 6 stations in the corridor between Botanical Garden station of Blue and Magenta line. The names of all 6 stations Sector-136, 125, 93, 98, 91, 94 were coming up. In the meeting held between the officers of NMRC and DMRC, there has been an idea to change the route of the corridor. According to experts, the new route will not include Noida Expressway and will include residential sectors. The number of stations in the new corridor will also increase.
About 10 lakh people of Aqua, Magenta and Blue Line will benefit from this corridor. Till now, to come from Botanical Garden to Greater Noida West, one has to come to Noida first. If sources are to be believed, the possible route from Sector-142 to Sector-91, 108, 47, 46 can be included in the new plan. NMRC Managing Director Ritu Maheshwari had again instructed for the survey to change the alignment, so that more and more people can travel by metro.
Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram will be able to go directly from Greater Noida-Noida
Passengers coming from Greater Noida Sector-142 will come to Aqua Line Botanical Garden Metro Station. Coming here, passengers will be able to go directly to Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram with the help of Blue and Magenta lines. On the other hand, coming from Delhi, there will also be a direct metro train for Noida and Greater Noida. About 30 thousand passengers will benefit from this. At the same time, to go to Greater Noida West, there will be no need to take auto-cabs from Noida and Noida from Metro first.
