There is good news for those traveling in Delhi Metro. Free Wi-Fi in Metro is available at all stations of the Yellow Line Metro. You will be able to use WiFi for free while traveling between the Yellow Lines.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) launched the WiFi facility on Sunday. It was told on behalf of Metro that DMRC in collaboration with a technology firm is working towards starting this facility inside the metro (except the Airport Express Line).
The first such facility in South Asia
according to media reports, Metro in January last year, was in New Delhi and Dwarka Sec-21 stations start connecting the airport train line feature within the cartons high-speed Wi-Fi on. This was the first such facility in any country in the South Asian region. This 22.7 km long Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro network has six stations including New Delhi, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity, IGI Airport and Dwarka Sector 21.
The service was stopped due to Covid, it was
informed by DMRC that DMRC had started free WiFi service in its airport line trains on trial basis, which was suspended in 2020 due to constraints arising out of Kovid-19 and Now the process of restoring it is going on within the next 10-15 days.

Before Diwali, Metro has given its passengers the gift of free WiFi. You can avail the facility by connecting free WiFi to your mobile. For this, first you have to select OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi in your mobile. Then you have to enter your mobile number and email id. OTP will come in the phone. After entering the OTP, you have to accept the term and condition. After this, after tapping on connect, you will be able to take advantage of free WiFi.
