ED issues fifth summons to Kejriwal
ED issues fifth summons to Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in Delhi’s liquor scam. Kejriwal was called for questioning on February 2, but he did not come. Instead of going to the ED office, Kejriwal joined the protest against BJP along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and party leaders from Haryana.
The interrogation took place in April last year.
In April last year, CM Arvind Kejriwal was interrogated by the CBI in its office for about 9 and a half hours in the liquor policy case. During this period about 56 questions were asked. After questioning, Kejriwal had said – “I answered all the questions of CBI. We have nothing to hide. AAP is a staunchly honest party. We will die, but will never compromise with our honesty. We want to destroy AAP, but the people of the country are with us.”
Targeting BJP,
Arvind Kejriwal said – “It does not matter to us whether the mayor of Chandigarh is from our party or BJP. Parties keep coming and going, but the country should not be played with. BJP has started playing with the elections. Is done.” Kejriwal said, “If BJP can make such a big mistake in a small election like Chandigarh Mayor’s, then who knows what it will do in the Lok Sabha elections. They can even sell the country for power.”
