On the other hand, Gurugram administration has issued an advisory for work from home for companies seeing the traffic being affected. At the same time, orders have been issued to close schools in many areas.
Heavy rain alert for next 48 hours
The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ for the next 48 hours of rain in the area of Delhi NCR. People have been warned about heavy rain. Traffic may also remain affected in Delhi NCR in the next 48 hours.
The temperature can also drop due to rain. In this sense, people will get relief from the age-old heat. People will also get relief from the increased pollution in Delhi in the past.
Schools will remain closed due to rain
All government and private schools up to class VIII in Noida and Greater Noida will remain closed on Friday due to rain. District School Inspector Dharamvir Singh said that the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in the area, after which District Magistrate Suhas L. Wai issued an order to close the school.
According to an official statement issued on Thursday night, Singh said, “All schools from classes 1 to 8 in the district will remain closed on September 23.” Parts of the National Capital Region (NCR), including Uttar Pradesh and Gautam Buddha Nagar, received heavy rains on and before Thursday. Damage to life and property due to rain has also been reported in some areas of the state.
