Delhi Traffic Advisory: Voting for 7 Lok Sabha seats is to be held in Delhi on Saturday. Election campaigning has also been halted. Now the commission has started preparing for the elections. In such a situation, there will be movement of a large number of buses and other vehicles related to election duty from 9 am to 5 pm today. Due to which traffic jams can be seen.

Delhi Traffic Advisory: (Delhi Lok Sabha Election 2024) In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Commonwealth Games Village is a strong room-cum-counting centre. In such a situation, there will be movement of a large number of buses and other vehicles related to election duty from 9 am to 5 pm on Friday, May 24.

Due to which there is a possibility of jam. To ensure smooth traffic management and uninterrupted travel in the area, Delhi Traffic Police has made some changes in the traffic system.

This will be the arrangement

  • Commuters coming towards NH-24 from Sarai Kale Khan/MGM will go straight towards Akshardham Flyover and turn left towards Pusta Road, ITO, Vikas Marg to reach their destination.
  • Passengers coming from ITO, Pusta Road will come up to Akshardham flyover in front of Akshardham Temple and after crossing Akshardham flyover they will take a U-turn and come on NH-24 to reach their destination towards Delhi.
  • The traffic police has advised people going towards ISBT, railway stations and airports to leave their homes with sufficient time.
