BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is going to take oath as CM at 7 pm today. Earlier it was being said that he will take oath tomorrow, but now he will be crowned today.

Since the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray yesterday, there were speculations that Devendra Fadnavis would take oath as the Chief Minister. Earlier there was news that Fadnavis would take oath as CM on July 1. He also spoke to Eknath Shinde over phone. But now today at seven o’clock in the evening, Fadnavis is going to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time.

For now, Fadnavis has reached the governor along with Eknath Shinde. He is scheduled to meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and complete some formalities. Shinge faction leader Deepak Kesarkar had a special conversation with Aaj Tak on the new political journey that is going to start in the state. It was clearly said from his side that Shiv Sena is one but Shiv Sena has two factions in the assembly and even today the leader of the legislature party is Eknath Shinde. He said that we have not stabbed anyone in the back, such statements of Sanjay Raut are only to spread resentment among the people.

Although there is resentment among his supporters after the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray, but not much demonstrations have been seen on the road. During his address yesterday, CM had appealed to all Shiv Sainiks to maintain peace, those who want to come to Mumbai, let them come, they are exercising their democratic rights. We will then go among the people and make our place.
