New Delhi. In the coming times, every person in the country will have a single digital ID. With this, all the documents including Aadhaar, PAN card, driving license and passport will be linked to each other.

In the proposed draft, the ministry has suggested that this unified digital identity will empower the citizen by keeping these identity cards under control and provide them the option to choose which one to use for what purpose. Under this unified digital identity, the identity cards of different states along with the central can also be kept together.
