Diwali Chhath Special Train: To bring people of UP and Bihar home on big festivals like Diwali and Chhath, the railway is running 7000 special trains from big cities across the country.

Diwali Chhath Special Train: To bring people home on time on festivals like Diwali and Chhath, the railway is continuously taking big steps. On Wednesday alone, the railway is running 164 extra festive special trains. The Railway Board said that these trains will be run from big cities across the country to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It includes cities like Secunderabad, Ahmedabad, Kottayam, Ujjain, Bhopal, New Delhi, Nagpur.

Trains for UP-Bihar run from all over the country

Dilip Kumar, Executive Director, Information and Publicity, Railway Board, said, “Railways has made full preparations to ensure that people reach their homes on Chhath and Diwali. In this regard, on October 30, we are running 164 special trains. These trains will run from various places across the country to cities in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Indian Railways is ready to make 7,000 additional journeys across the country with these additional trains”

Railways did these things for passengers

He said, “To ensure that passengers do not face any inconvenience at railway stations, teams of officers have been deployed round the clock. Apart from this, Railway Police Force, Commercial and other SHGs have also been deployed for passenger convenience.”
