The arrears of dearness allowance will be paid in cash from 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2024. According to the official statement, this allowance will be added to the regular salary from 1 October 2024.

The Uttarakhand government has made a big announcement for the employees. The salary of government employees has been increased from the month of July. Which means that the arrears will also be added to the salary of the month of October. The government has increased the dearness allowance by 3 percent for the employees. In such a situation, the dearness allowance has now increased to 53 percent. It will be effective from 1 July 2024.

The arrears of dearness allowance will be paid in cash from 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2024. According to the official statement, this allowance will be added to the regular salary from 1 October 2024. According to the government statement, this order will not automatically apply to the judges of the High Court, the Chairman and Members of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and some other categories of employees. Separate orders will be issued for these groups.

These people will get bonus

For the financial year 2023-24, non-gazetted employees and daily wage employees of educational institutions aided by the state government, local bodies, district panchayats will be considered eligible for bonus. According to the order of the Government of India, a 30-day bonus, with a maximum limit of â‚ą 7,000, will be provided.

How much bonus will be given?

This bonus applies to employees who were in service as of March 31, 2024 and whose service period was at least six months. Employees with service ranging from six months to one year will be given bonus based on their employment period. The bonus amount will be calculated based on the average annual income, with a maximum limit of â‚ą 7,000. For example, for a 30-day period, this amount will be â‚ą 6,908.

Casual and daily wage employees who have worked a minimum of 240 days per annum in the last three years (for offices working six days a week) will also be eligible for this bonus equal to â‚ą 1,184. Employees found guilty of departmental misconduct or involved in criminal cases will not be eligible for the bonus. However, according to the statement, employees reinstated after suspension will be eligible for the bonus.
