Diwali Gold Price 2024: The commodity market continues to see rapid action during the festive season. Gold has once again reached a new record high on Wednesday. On Dhanteras, prices in the bullion market saw a jump. Gold opened at a new high in the futures market today. However, silver saw a slight sluggishness today. In the futures market, around 10 am, gold was trading at Rs 79,493 per 10 grams, up by Rs 260. Yesterday gold futures closed at Rs 79,233. During this, silver was trading at Rs 98,520 per kg with a decline of Rs 210, which closed at Rs 98,730 yesterday.

Where did the gold reach on Dhanteras?

Gold prices rose by Rs 300 to Rs 81,400 per 10 grams in the national capital’s bullion market on Tuesday due to good demand from jewelers and retailers on the occasion of Dhanteras. Silver rose by Rs 200 to Rs 99,700 per kg due to increased demand from industrial units and coin manufacturers. Silver closed at Rs 99,500 per kg on Monday.

Traders said they are preferring silver coins for symbolic purchases, ignoring the traditional purchase of gold at current levels. Apart from this, gold of 99.5 percent purity jumped by Rs 300 to an all-time high of Rs 81,000 per 10 grams. On Monday, gold of 99.9 percent and 99.5 percent purity closed at Rs 81,100 and Rs 80,700 per 10 grams.
