DMRC Metro Timing Change: On Diwali, metro timings will be changed compared to normal days. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has released important information in this regard.
Delhi Metro: Metro timings will be changed on Diwali. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has told when the first and last train will run on Sunday. On 12th November, Diwali, the last train on all metro lines will be available at 10 pm instead of 11 pm.
DMRC said that on the day of Diwali, metro service (Metro train time table) will start at 6 am for all lines and sections. Whereas for the Airport Express Line, this service will start only at 4.45 am. Whereas on the same night the last train will leave from the terminal station i.e. the station from where the journey starts at 10 pm.
On account of the Diwali festival, the last Metro train service on 12th November 2023 (Sunday) will start at 10:00 PM from terminal stations of all Lines including Airport Express Line.

It is known that the hustle and bustle in the market has already increased a lot due to Dhanteras before Diwali. Besides, the onslaught of air pollution has left Delhi in distress. In many areas of Delhi, AQI i.e. the level of measuring pollution has crossed 600-700. Areas like Anand Vihar, Lodhi Road are in bad condition. Odd even has been implemented for cars from 13th November. Winter break has been announced in schools.
At the same time, the frequency of Delhi Metro has also been increased to take people to offices and other destinations. Apart from the metro, the timing of feeder services of buses has also been reduced. Around 25 to 30 lakh people travel in Delhi Metro every day. Due to rules regarding pollution and festivals, crowding in the metro may increase further.
Changes in timings may also be seen for Noida and Ghaziabad Metro. Noida Metro Rail Corporation can announce this soon. Trains from Noida and Ghaziabad operate to various areas of Delhi.
Last year also, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had changed the timing of metro trains during Diwali festival (24 October). Passengers from different areas of NCR travel on Delhi Metro.
