But can the corona infection really spread through currency too? The Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) had asked Health Minister Harsh Vardhan whether currency notes also spread corona virus?
The corona virus infection spread so much that people were afraid to even touch anything. But one thing is needed by everyone and that is cash money i.e. currency. People have also started sanitizing the note. But can the corona infection really spread through currency too? The Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) had asked Health Minister Harsh Vardhan whether currency notes also spread corona virus? But there was no answer to this.
According to CAT, currency notes pass through the hands of many people. Because of this, the risk of spreading the infection is high. According to media reports, it has been proved in many researches that the infection can be spread even through currency notes. Rather, corona infection spreads rapidly through notes, because due to the dry surface of the notes, any type of virus or bacteria can remain on it for a long time.
It has also been proved in King George’s Medical University-Lucknow, International Journal of Advanced Research that infection can be spread through currency notes. Therefore, there is a need to use notes carefully during the Corona period.
