New Delhi: The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has taken a big decision regarding domestic flights on Tuesday. After the Corona havoc, domestic flights flying at 85 percent capacity for a long time will be able to fly with 100% capacity from October 18. A circular in this regard was issued by the ministry and it was announced to remove the restrictions on the ability of domestic operations in flights.
Domestic flight started after lockdown
Significantly, after being closed for two months due to the Covid-19 lockdown, domestic passenger flights were resumed from May 25. Although airlines were earlier allowed to fly only with 85% capacity. The government had earlier increased it from 33% to 45 per cent on June 26 and then to 60 per cent on September 2.
