DRDO recruitment 2019 will soon be conducted at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) in Hyderabad, which is one of the premier centers of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). There are currently 4 vacancies of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) available. Selected candidates will be eligible for a stipend of Rs 31,000 per month.
Who Can Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification, of the 4 DRDO JRF vacancies available, two are for candidates with a first class BE or BTech degree in mechanical engineering along with a valid NET or GATE score; another is for candidates with a first class BE or BTech degree in aeronautical engineering along with a valid NET or GATE score; and one more is for candidates with a first class BE or BTech degree in chemical engineering along with a valid NET or GATE score or MSc Chemistry in first class with a valid CSIR, NET or GATE score.
How to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?
Interested and eligible candidates need to send a type written application along with the complete bio-data to the Director, Defence Research and Development Laboratory, PO Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad 500058 before the first week of October. The bio-data should cover the fellowship code, name, address, qualification, experience, email address and so on. The candidate should not be over 28 years at the time of interview; however, the age limit is relaxable by 5 years SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. The JRF vacancies do not guarantee permanent absorption into DRDO, says the notification. However, after 2 years of JRF the candidate may be employed as SRF for three more years.
