DRDO Scholarship for girls 2020 | The DRDO has extended the application deadline by announcing a scholarship of up to Rs 1,86,000 for girls.
Good news for girls. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has announced a scholarship of up to Rs 1,86,000 every year. The application deadline for these scholarships is September 30. However, DRDO offered another chance to those who could not apply due to the corona virus epidemic. The application deadline has been extended to November 15, 2020. That extended the deadline by another 45 days. So students who have not yet applied for this scholarship scheme are likely to have another month or so. DRDO offers 20 Undergraduate and 10 Postgraduate Scholarships through this scheme. Talented students can apply for this scholarship scheme if financial difficulties become an obstacle to pursuing higher education.
The DRDO Scholarship Scheme is applicable to girls from India only. Only students should apply. Degree or PG students in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, space engineering, rocketry, avionics, aircraft engineering can apply. Girls studying BE, BTech, BSc Engineering first year should apply to get degree scholarship. At least 60% marks in graduation will be selected based on JEE (Main) score. They get a four-year scholarship of up to Rs 1,20,000 per year. First year students of ME, MTech, MSc Engineering should apply for PG Scholarship. They get a two-year scholarship of up to Rs 1,86,000. Those who are admitted in graduation or post graduation in the academic year 2020-21 are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
