Driving License Rule Changed: The Yogi government has given a big gift to those who get a learning driving license. After this, people will no longer have to visit brokers in the RTO office. Now the online services of UP Transport can also be availed from more than 1.5 lakh public facilities centers in the state. UP Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that the API (Application Programming Interface) of the CSC Digital Service Portal and SBI-MOPS (Payment Gateway) have been linked to the CSC Wallet. You can apply online for learning license and many other facilities, for which only Rs 30 fee will have to be paid at these centers.
What will be the fee for which facility?
The Transport Department has fixed the fee for all the facilities. On successful transaction of any facility, people will have to pay only Rs 30 per service to the CSC operator. Along with this, separate charges will have to be paid for document uploading, printing, photocopy, scanning etc. Rates have also been fixed for this. Two rupees per page for scanning/uploading, three rupees per page for printing and two rupees per page for photocopy have been fixed.
Facilities will also be available from Jan Suvidha Kendra
These facilities can be availed from all the Jan Suvidha Kendras of the state. Till now more than one and a half lakh cyber cafe operators and brokers in the state were charging arbitrary amount for online application. According to Dayashankar Singh, the new system will get rid of corruption to the people. Apart from this, faceless services like learning license, change of address, change of name, change of photo and signature, issue of duplicate license, duplicate DL etc. can be done through CSC without going to the RTO office.
