On the instructions of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Transport Department has launched the Sarathi software under the online provisions.A big change has been made in (Sarathi parivahan software). Now those who are below 40 years of age will not need to upload the medical certificate to make DL (Driving License). Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh. States like Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand have started this facility for those below 40 years of age. At present, this facility is available only for those below 40 years of age.

Under this facility, it will be mandatory for those who are below 40 years of age to give self-declaration instead of medical certificate. The applicant will have to state in the self declaration that he is completely fit to drive any type of vehicle. At the same time, uploading of medical certificates will still be mandatory for those above 40 years of age. Along with this, it will be mandatory for you to give a medical certificate for renewal as well.

let us tell you that while applying for driving license online, the applicant had to upload birth certificate, local proof, Aadhar card and medical certificate. Now the Transport Department has made changes in the Sarathi software under the online provisions. After which now there will be no need to upload the medical certificate to get the license. This facility is only for those below 40 years of age.

This service is now started on the Sarathi Portal. In

fact, in the past, the Central Government had removed the provision of providing medical certificates for making licenses for those below 40 years of age, but it was not implemented on the Sarathi Portal. Now the Transport Department has updated the Sarathi software and removed it completely. At the same time, this certificate will be available for applying for license or renewal if you are more than 40 years old. Which you have to download and get it approved by the doctor.



The central government is constantly striving towards making driving license and 100 percent services related to it online. Most of the services of transport authorities have now been started online. The functioning of almost every RTO in the country has now been made online. The Transport Department is trying that people do not have to come now to get license renewal, duplicate license, address change and RC made. People should get the facility to upload these documents while sitting at home. After the online system, people will have to come to the RTO only for driving test and fitness.
