How to apply for duplicate RC online
- To apply for duplicate RC (Duplicate RC Process), you will have to go to the Transport Service Portal (https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/).
- After this, you will have to go to the RC Services appearing there and click on it.
- Here you will have to choose online services.
- After this, on the next page, you have to click on Services on Driving License.
- Here you have to select ‘issue of duplicate RC’.
- Here you have to fill all the information asked. Also, some documents will also have to be uploaded.
- After the process of duplicate RC is completed, you will have to make payment based on your location and postage charges.
- After completion of all the processes mentioned above, the duplicate RC will reach your address by post.
How to apply for duplicate RC offline
- To apply for duplicate RC offline, you have to go to your nearest RTO office.
- Before going there, you must take all the documents mentioned above with you.
- After reaching the RTO office, you will have to take a Form 26 and fill it.
- In this Form 26, you will have to fill information like your vehicle number, engine number, chassis number etc.
- When you go to submit this form, you will have to give all the documents and payment amount.
- After completion of this process, the duplicate RC will reach your address through post.
