How to download e-Aadhaar from Aadhaar card number
- First of all go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/.
- Here you can choose any method from Aadhaar number, Enrolment ID, or Virtual ID.
- If you choose the option of Aadhaar number, then you will have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar card number.
- After this, as soon as you touch Send OTP, OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
- After entering the OTP, you can easily download the Aadhaar card.
- The e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded but it will have a password.
- To unlock the password, enter the first 4 letters of the name written in the Aadhaar card in capital language.
- For example, if someone’s name is Mohit and his birth year is 1996, then he will have to enter MOHI1996.
Apart from this, to download Aadhaar card from Virtual ID, you have to go to UIDAI website. After this, go to Aadhaar Card Service and go to My Aadhaar section and select Virtual ID (VID) option. After this you will reach My Aadhaar portal, here on scrolling down you will see VID Generator.
- If you have already generated VID and you do not remember the VID, then choose the option of Retrieve VID.
- After this, enter the Aadhaar number and enter the captcha code. After this, select Send OTP.
- OTP will come on your registered mobile number, after entering which select Verify and Proceed.
- As soon as you do this, Virtual ID will come on your mobile.
- Once you get the Virtual ID, go to https://uidai.gov.in/.
- After this, select My Aadhaar section and select Get Aadhaar and then choose the option of Download Aadhaar.
- After this, select the option of your Virtual ID Number and enter the 16-digit VID.
- After this, select Send OTP and enter the OTP.
- After this, touch Verify & Download and your Aadhaar card will be downloaded.
