In case the PAN card is lost or broken, the Income Tax Department has provided the facility to get PAN made. However, to apply this, you must have a valid Aadhaar number and your Aadhaar card is linked with PAN and registered mobile number. If we talk about the documents to get E-PAN, then you can get it only through Aadhar card. This process is completed after verifying the information given in it.
- Get e-PAN instantly from Aadhaar number
- Log in to the e-portal of the Income Tax Department.
- Now when the home page opens, you will have to click on the Instant E PAN option.
- Now click on the new PAN page and select Guest New PAN.
- After entering the Aadhaar number on the New PAN page, select the Confirm checkbox and click on Continue.
- This is the process of requesting PAN card. Now comes the way to download E-PAN.
- For this, log in to the e-filing portal with your user ID and password.
- After that see the service e-PAN on the dashboard or click on the download option.
- After this you will be asked for your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Enter it and click on Continue option.
- As soon as you do this, you will receive an OTP on your mobile, after entering which you can download your PAN card and use it wherever required.
